Upon receiving the report, police and specialized teams moved to the area to investigate the device. After carefully inspecting it, it was confirmed that it was a lighter with an outer cover resembling a grenade. Despite being a harmless replica, the news generated alarm among residents.

Concerned about the finding, neighbors alerted authorities through the emergency number 911. In response, units from the Secretariat of Integral Risk Management and Civil Protection, along with personnel specialized in handling explosive devices, arrived at the scene to assess the situation.
